1. What purity levels does AMP Peptide guarantee?¶
All peptides supplied by AMP Peptide are analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and mass spectrometry (MS). Standard purity is ≥ 98% for most products. Select research-grade peptides are available at ≥ 99% purity. Each shipment includes a Certificate of Analysis (COA) with chromatogram and mass spectrum data. Purity is determined by area-under-curve (AUC) integration at UV 214 nm detection.
2. How should peptides be stored?¶
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored at 2–8°C (refrigeration) for short-term stability (up to 6 months) or at −20°C (freezing) for long-term storage (12–24 months). Peptides should be kept desiccated and protected from light. Once reconstituted, peptide solutions should be stored at 2–8°C and used within 7–14 days depending on the specific peptide. See the Peptide Storage Guide for detailed stability data by peptide.
3. How do I reconstitute lyophilized peptides?¶
Reconstitution should be performed using sterile bacteriostatic water, sterile USP-grade water, or 0.9% sterile saline. The choice of reconstitution solvent depends on the specific peptide — some require a small amount of acetic acid (0.1–1%) for initial dissolution. Always add the solvent gently to the vial wall, not directly onto the lyophilized cake. Swirl gently; do not vortex. See the Peptide Reconstitution Guide for peptide-specific protocols.
4. What are the shipping options and delivery times?¶
AMP Peptide offers international shipping with tracking. Standard shipping typically arrives within 5–14 business days depending on destination. Express shipping (DHL/FedEx) is available with delivery in 3–7 business days. All shipments are discreetly packaged in temperature-controlled containers when required. Freeze-sensitive shipments during summer months include ice packs and insulated packaging.
5. Does AMP Peptide provide Certificates of Analysis (COA)?¶
Yes. Every product batch is tested and a Certificate of Analysis is available. The COA includes: HPLC chromatogram with purity percentage, mass spectrometry (ESI-MS or MALDI-TOF) confirmation of molecular weight, amino acid analysis results, appearance and solubility data, water content (Karl Fischer), and residual solvent analysis. COAs can be accessed via the batch number on the product label or by contacting support.
6. Are AMP Peptide products manufactured under GMP conditions?¶
AMP Peptide products are manufactured in ISO-certified facilities that follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines for research chemicals. While our peptides are intended for research purposes only — not for human or veterinary use — the manufacturing process adheres to pharmaceutical-grade quality control standards including: raw material testing, in-process quality checks, validated analytical methods, batch record documentation, and stability monitoring programs.
7. Do you offer custom peptide synthesis?¶
Yes. AMP Peptide provides custom peptide synthesis services for research applications. Custom synthesis capabilities include: peptide lengths from 2 to 50 amino acids, standard and modified amino acids (D-amino acids, unnatural amino acids, N-methylation), a wide range of N-terminal modifications (acetylation, palmitoylation, myristoylation, PEGylation, biotinylation, FITC labeling), C-terminal modifications (amidation, esterification), and cyclic peptides (disulfide, lactam, head-to-tail). Typical synthesis scales range from 10 mg to 100 g. Lead time is 2–4 weeks depending on sequence complexity and scale.
8. What payment methods are accepted?¶
AMP Peptide accepts the following payment methods: bank wire transfer (international), credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT — with 5% discount), and PayPal (select countries). All transactions are processed through secure payment gateways. Volume discounts are available for orders exceeding specified quantity thresholds.
9. Are these peptides for human or veterinary use?¶
All peptides sold by AMP Peptide are for research purposes only. They are not approved for human or veterinary use by the FDA, EMA, or any other regulatory authority. Products are intended for laboratory research, in vitro studies, preclinical investigations, and accredited institutional research programs. Purchasers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations governing the use of research peptides.
10. What is your return and refund policy?¶
AMP Peptide stands behind the quality of every product. If a product fails to meet its stated purity specifications (verified by independent HPLC/MS analysis), a replacement or refund will be issued. Claims must be submitted within 14 days of receipt with supporting analytical data. Products that have been reconstituted or opened cannot be returned for hygiene and stability reasons. Temperature-sensitive products must be stored properly upon receipt to maintain eligibility for quality claims.
11. How do I contact AMP Peptide support?¶
For product inquiries, technical support, custom synthesis quotes, or COA requests, contact the AMP Peptide support team:
- Email: Available via the AMP Peptide website contact form
- Website: amppeptide.com
- Response Time: Typically within 24 business hours
12. Can I get a quote for bulk or wholesale orders?¶
Yes. AMP Peptide offers competitive wholesale pricing for bulk orders. To request a quote, please provide: peptide name(s) and quantity required, desired purity level (≥ 98% or ≥ 99%), preferred packaging format (vial size, gram quantity), and any special requirements (custom labeling, specific salt form, etc.). Bulk orders typically receive priority processing and may qualify for volume-based tiered pricing.
